The Supreme Court has just ruled that anti-gun and gun-control laws are "unconstitutional" according to the second amendment on the Bill of Rights, which states that all American citizens have the right to bear arms for self-defense, or just in general to have a weapon.
I'm sure we are all asking what will happen once firearms are readily available to any and all who desire one. The streets of the United States will run red with the spilled blood of murdered people. The death rate will go up, and there will be a national uproar. The entire country will become one big Bed-Stuy, Coney Island, Harlem, whichever sketchy neighborhood you want. I, personally, being a conservative, will provide a true example of a state that has a very lenient gun-control law: Florida. Florida was at a point where one could legally own a gun, and even go one step further--they could hide the gun on their person. No one could know for sure whether the next guy was holding a semi-automatic sub machine-gun, or if he is completely unarmed. However, the world was in for a surprise. Instead of the crime rate going up, in went down.
However, the supreme court has made it crystal-clear that misuse of weapons will not be tolerated anywhere in the country. Firearms are to be used only in self defense, not for passionate murder. Justice Scalia on the Supreme Court says that anyone could misinterpret the second amendment, allowing citizens to commit violent crimes, (ex murder,) with their weapons. Scalia has made it clear that misconception has not, in the past, or will be, tolerated.
Another question arises: what types of weapons are protected? Certainly not the torches or things of the sort that gangs use. As far as I know, only guns are to be tolerated and will be protected under the second amendment.
For those of us who are asking when this will take affect, and we can find a section in Modells where in one aisle you can find handguns, the next rifles, and the next machine guns, well, as of last Thursday, Washington D.C. has repealed its gun-control laws by demand of the Supreme Court.
I would like to apologize to all of the liberals who are reading this. I will tell you this, though. If you don't want a gun, don't buy one, OK?

Candidates Have Been FINALLY Chosen
Ok, everyone, it's been a while, and I have been, at long last, able to return to my computer. We finally have our two candidates: John McCain from the Republican party, and Barack Obama from the Democrats.
Many of us McCain supporters (I've turned myself into a seasoned Republican, and considering the altertnative, I'm not regretting it.) are now rejoicing at the decision. Obama is weak. Very, very weak. If the race had been against Hillary, she would have won. She had a very strong campaign, and had all of the experiene required to be president, thanks to Bill.
Ok, fine, she was weak and her husband was a moron (he still is!), but she was still stronger than Obama.
Even though the, um..., I gues you would call it a "scandal," with Rev. Wright has not really hurt Obama as much as it could have. If it had hit him full on, he would have dropped out long ago. But right now, unless Obama gets his act together, McCain is officialy in the White House. Not officially, but you know what I mean. I'm talking figuratively here.
I'm sorry this isn't very long, but there's not much to say except this...
GOOD LUCK, JOHN McCAIN!!!
